By the end of year 1976, a number of 21 locomotives condense to become collection of this museum; with one among other things - assessed by most historic republic of Indonesia struggle - placed in Monument Palagan [a symbol of struggle warrior]; Station of formal Ambarawa function museum of commencing from 21 April 1978.

Besides a number of locomotive of the vapors, there be still five other unit in Depot Station - three among other things that is B.2502; B.2503 and E1060 which still can be operated; also five wagon of passenger and one goods cart.
